REMEMBER: Since 2005 any work requiring the disconnection of any part of your electrical system must be undertaken by a qualified electrician - this was brought into law for safety reasons and is a legal requirement.

Robert Turner is Building Regulations 'Part P' qualified to undertake both commercial and domestic electrical work, as well as being licensed to sign that work off.

What We Charge

TURNERS charges are uncomplicated and there are no hidden extras or call out charges. Choose from fixed price quotations for large projects, day or half day rates, or work by the hour for small or emergency jobs. All rates exclude the cost of materials.

  • Fixed Price Projects

    Written and verbal quotations are available for all jobs taking over 1 day. Simply get in contact for a quote.

  • Day & Half-Day Rates

    Day and half day rates offer excellent value for money.

    Full Day Mon-Fri £100
    Full Day Sat-Sun £120
    Half Day Mon-Fri £60
    Half Day Sat-Sun £75

    Tip: you could line up a number of small jobs in order to benefit from a day or half-day rate!

  • Hourly Rates

    For small or emergency jobs we charge by the hour. Please give a description of your project when enquiring.

    There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15 minute increments.

    Daytime (8am-8pm) Mon-Fri £20/hour
    Evening (8pm-2am) Mon-Thurs £30/hour
    Daytime (8am-8pm) Sat-Sun £30/hour
    Daytime (8am-8pm) Bank Holiday £60/hour
    Daytime (8am-8pm) Christmas Day £60/hour

    Non-emergency jobs lasting over 3 hours will be charged at day or half day rates.

Estimates

Estimates are generally non-chargeable.

Materials

Materials supplied by TURNERS will be charged at cost plus 10%. Collection time will be kept to a minimum - any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance.

Invoices

An invoice will always be produced clearly showing a full description of work carried out - time started / time finished, a breakdown of the cost of labour, the materials used and the amount of the time spent onsite.

Payment

Payment must be made in full by cheque or cash to the engineer on receipt of invoice.
